About the Position
The Ready Games is looking for a Game Developer to join our Ready Game Studio, who will create casual mobile games, using Ready Maker, to showcase on The Ready Games App. Ready Maker is a game making platform built on Unity3D that lets users build and publish 2D mobile & PC games without having to use any C#/coding. Our ideal candidate is innovative, creative, enthusiastic, resourceful and passionate about competitive gaming!
This position reports to the Game Studio Manager.
What you’ll do
Take an active role in all aspects of the development of casual mobile games for The Ready Games App
Contribute with ideas and solutions to create new game mechanics & game experiences and improve existing ones
Work with an innovative and creative Game Studio - they’ve created over 200+ Ready Games!
Bring to life your mobile game ideas and create simple replicas of popular app store games
Create mobile games efficiently and quickly using Ready Maker
Work with an experienced team of technologists and graphic designers
Work with cross-functioning teams from different locations
What you’ll need
Knowledge of game maker/construct tools and applications
Proven ability to deliver mobile/video games from concept to submission
Strong understanding of all aspects of the game development lifecycle
Game Design experience is best but all creatives are welcome - no specific coding language knowledge required for position
Comfortable with agile methods and remote management (Slack, Trello, Jira)
Strong QA organization and execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
Proficient in C# and Unity, an asset
Passionate about gaming
